Shares in the Group are normally available and can be purchased at market rate. Group History Brisbane Flying Group is an incorporated not for profit company formed in November 1972. The Group has operated continuously since then from Archerfield Airport. The Group has operated several different types of aircraft over the years including Beechcraft Bonanza and for many years Grumman AA5B “ Tiger” aircraft. The Grumman AA5B’s served the Group very well and for many years we operated three of these. In 2010 the decision was made to sell the ageing Tigers and in October of that year we commenced operating the first of our C172S aircraft, VH-WPL. In August the following year we added our second C172SP VH-WPI. Both aircraft have been flown extensively over much of Australia and continue to provide our shareholders with a practical, cost effective means to engage in and enjoy their flying.
